If you continue using it as much as you are now your skin may start cracking, bleeding, and getting mild chemical burns. The same thing happened to me the first few times I used it, and I also tried their moisturizer with no success. So I went and bought a light, unscented moisturizer by Aveeno and my skin was fine after that. Also, try using it only once a day and just use an anti-bacterial soap for the morning. If you’re only using it once a day right now, only use it every other day. Also remember to drink lots of water to hydrate your skin!If it burns, STOP!

After using Proactive, I had to go buy a big bottle of pure Vitamin E gel. i put that on every night and morning, and it soothed my skin. I then turned to Clinique Acne Solutions and I’ve been using it ever since. IT works WAY better! You don’t feel dry at all. Instead of using the moisturizer that came with the Acne solutions though, I bought Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel. I then follow with more Vitamin E gel.

Hope this helps!Stop using it. i used it and the exact same thing happened to me, but i kept using it and it got really irritated and i got worse acne then i ever had. i stopped and switched to basic cleansers and it cleared up, but i still have some under-skin bumps and scars from it. everyone has different skin, so im not sure what will happen to yours if you keep using it but if i was you i would stop a.s.a.p. the same thing happened to my Friends with it.Proactive dried my skin out VERY badly. I started using this new stuff about 2 months ago. it is AMAZING. it actually puts moisture in my skin. and nothing has every gotten rid of my acne like it has. I high recommend it!!
