How do you make oily skin go away?!?!?
Wash your face 2x a day with an oil-free acne cleanser… I use Neutrogena. At drugstores you can get oil sheet things that you can use throughout the day to blot away oil… they work SO well, even if you have makeup on (idk if you're a girl).Try some oil-blotting papers like ones from Clean and
Clear that you can get at a drugstore. You can also get face powder to blot away shine and make your skin look matte. You can also get this at the drugstore. Try Maybelline Dream Matte Powder which looks really natural and is light. You use soap with out oil… You use Products that have no oil and you use makeup with NO oil…….Clean your skin with an astringent 3 times a day. Go in a Pharmacy that sells a lot of these products and read the label.. NO OIL!!! You will see a difference. Always remove all the make and dirt and debre from your face…They even have baby wipes to clean your face with Aloe and no soap…Neutrogena has many good products for Oily skinUnfortunately you can't make it go away, I have oily skin too.
I have like really oily skin too, because when I was younger, I would overwash my face causing my face to make more oil, so maybe if I didn't do that, it wouldn't be so bad..but oh well, you learn to live with it., so definitely don't wash your face more than twice a day!
You need a gentle cleanser and moisturizer for oily skin, I use cetaphil cleanser for oily skin and I use Avon clearskin mattifying moisturizer which smells bad but it works pretty good and prevents breakouts.
A toner is also a good idea, but I just use witchazel, it's good for oily skin. Toners actually help close your pores so not as much oil is produced. Even if you have oily skin, you HAVE to moisturize, because then your skin will realize the lack of moisture and go overboard trying to replace all the oil.
So, in the morning, cleanse, tone and moisturize, but after you cleanse, splash your face with cold water, this alshelps close your pores.
At night, (if you wear makeup, take all of that off first) cleanse, then get a facecloth and put some more cleanser on it and GENTLY rub in little circles all over your face. If you do it roughly, it will irritate your skin.
If you wear makeup, get ones that are for oily skin, I use Revlon colorstay for oily/combo skin, (it's really good,) and maybelline 'shine free pressed powder.'
Throughout the day blot your face with blotting paper, I think clean and clear does some, and the body shop also have them. I use the body shops because I couldn't find the clean and clear ones.
