How can I remove acne scars?

November 30, 2008

Vitamin E prevents acne or pimple scarring and can also be used to fade old scars. Use cucumber or other fruit and vegetable packs to cure pimple scars. More such solutions at http://solutionsforpimples.blogspot.com/

Hello, well i was wondering can i use hydrocortizone cream everyday with benzoyl peroxide.?

November 30, 2008

I use both of those products, and I know that using hydrocortizone everyday, or applying too much of it gradually makes your skin very thin. (I know it sounds weird, but its true, and it can cause severe problems in the future) Especially if you are young, hydrocortizone can be very damging to the skin. If you only do it every so often, you should be fine, but only apply a thin layer when you do. As for the benzoyl peroxide, I don’t think it has any negative affects. You could try using vitamin E cream instead of hydrocortizone, because I’m guessing you just need a layer of something to protect your skin from having an allergic reaction.

16yr old male with redhead acne on cheeks im uzin clean and clear cleansing lotion will this work & how long?

November 28, 2008

Hey to be honest with you.. try peeing on a towel and rub it in your face and no im not joking it works..rub it before you go to sleep and take a shower in the morning. im telling youll see results in a week I have some good news for you….

….cheeks acne means that your acne is not hormonal.

If it were hormonal you would’ve breakout on your chin first. And it would’ve been much harder to cure.

But cheek acne is caused by “poor skin care habit”.

Now I’m not trying to put you down.

Poor skin care habits simply means that…

Your hands are touching your face.

Or maybe your cell phone is resting on your cheeks when you use it.

Or maybe your hair is lying on the sides of your face.

But whatever it is…..

……these “poor habits” can be easily corrected.

Now…

……….your using a product and you would like to know if it’ll work. And my answer is this:

The product will work if it suits your skin type.

There are basically 3 skin types. They are:

1) Dry Skin

2) Normal Skin

3) Sensitive Skin

4) Oily Skin

5) Combination skin (oily in some areas and dry in other areas)

So now I’m going to ask you a question…..

…”what’s your skin type”.

Knowing your skin type is very important. Think about it.

If you’ve got normal skin and you use a product which is made to treat oily skin…what do you think will happen.

The product will dry out your skin leaving it feeling tight and uncomfortable.

And this happens to people all the time.

My advice is to find out your skin type first…before you even purchase a product.

You can have a skin analysis at the following website:

http://www.facialskincarefacts.org/FacialAcneTreatments.html

Once you find out what type of skin you have…

…you can get a product that suits it. Or continue with the one you’ve got now (if its appropriate).

But whatever you choose remember that your acne is caused by something you’re doing.

If you correct this habit(s) you’ll get rid of your acne.

Goodluck :-)

Am I use vinegar as an acne medication?

November 28, 2008

Hi, yes, a couple of teaspoons of cider vinegar in a glass of water everyday helps detox and purify your skin. also a tsp of cider vinegar in water, dabbed on the face works wonders. there is a book on vinegar by margaret briggs, abbeydale press, which is brilliant. every home should have one. reallyAcne is a bundle of skin rashes formed over skin due to the action of hormones on the sebaceous glands. You can get rid of these acne from any of the natural acne remedies listed on the below site. Check it out for yourself as it worked for all that i personally know. The site address is beauticianworld.com

Best medication for acne???!!?

November 27, 2008

You need to see what the active ingredient is in the products you’ve used. there are 3 main over the counter acne medications-salicytic acid, benzoyl peroxide, and sulfur. try any brand that contains one of these as main ingredient (if you haven’t already). chances are, you’ve already eliminated salicytic acid and benzoyl peroxide. try a sulfur based product, and if that doesn’t work you will have to obtain a prescription. if you have a regular family doctor they will probably write you a script.

Good Moisturizer for skin on acne medication? ?

November 26, 2008

I used to be on differin and i started using the eucerine moisturizer . basically any moisturizer that is noncomedogegic ( means it wont clog pores) is perfectly fine , it usually says it on the bottle if it is or notoooohhh i have the clinique dramatically different moisturizer i got it for my b day and i looooooooveee it!!!!!!!!!! it really moisturizes and it doesnt feel heavy or cakey on you skin!!!!!!!! you can get it at like dillards or jcpennys or macys or any department store at the makeup counterIf you are on medication, it is best to use Neutrogena products - I trust these products the best - preferrably the lotion that helps reduce breakouts in eight hours; this will not cause any harm because you are mixing medications!!! I used the topical benzoyl peroxide and this lotion and my skin became beautiful, soft , and smooth. Hope I could be to any help!!Yes To Carrots makes a great day creme. It’s organic, paraben free, and contains the juices and oils from orange fruits and vegetables. I have acne, and it did NOT make me break out, since all the oils are all natural. It costs about $15 for a tub, which lasts several months.

I’m currently using the Cetaphil moisturizing lotion for sensitive skin. It comes in a huge pump, and there’s enough for both the face and body. =) Very cheap, and available everywhere.
